Help In Stasis for FREE

We hear it all the time—people want to support authors but they have no money. Fear not, there are many ways you can STILL help and yes they are absolutely FREE! Here’s an easy guide to help and then I will dive into a little bit about why this helps.

  1. If you have Storygraph go to “In Stasis” on the app and click the “to read” button. This will show the app you have interest in this book.

  2. If you have Goodreads go to “In Stasis” on the platform and click the “want to read” button. This will show the platform that you have interest in this book.

  3. Go to the product “In Stasis” on Amazon and click “add to list”. It shows Amazon you’re interested.

  4. Go to the product “In Stasis” on Barnes & Noble and click “add to wish list”. It show Barnes & Noble you’re interested.

  5. Talk to your local bookstores (including Barnes & Noble). You can ask if they carry “In Stasis” and if they don’t ask if they would consider carrying it. We offer bulk options direct to retailers.

  6. Talk to you book club about In Stasis being a book club read. If they reach out directly to me they can receive a 15% coupon code for their readers. (It will be a custom coupon code for each club so they need to reach out).

  7. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, priest, barista, etc. If they read-tell them.

  8. Share on social media. Even re-posting something from our feed is helpful.

So why do all this? You may have caught on but all these simple action steps creates BUZZZZZZZ and buzz is good. Buzz shows the platforms, apps and stores you’re interested. Interested readers to the profit sites equals sales and money to them. So places like Amazon and online Barnes & Noble will push In Stasis in general but especially to readers with similar interests, reading or purchasing history. Goodreads will as well as try to funnel people to Amazon. To brick & mortar stores it shows that stocking this book on their limited shelf space is less of a gamble and a safer bet for profits. Book clubs want books people are interested in and some are even themed to small authors. Storygraph will share similar reads to other readers and word can spread that way. Finally, how many times have you read a book based on recommendations? That’s what word of mouth (even digital) is so beneficial.

I know it can seem like a lot but 1-4 can be done in less than 10 minutes. The rest can be at someone’s convenience but even if you only did 1-4 it would still be helpful. Thank you in advance for any way you can support me, In Stasis, and this grass roots marketing campaign.
